Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Master’s degree in education or a related field required
- Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Education in subjects listed below or subjects or Alternative Teaching Certification as approved by Oklahoma State Department of Education required
- Knowledge of speech/language needs of individuals from 3 – 21 years of age
- Must possess ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, demonstrate self-discipline and initiative, follow state and district guidelines
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
