Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring experienced RN’s to help support the Orange County area as a floater for 4 medical centers on a per diem basis. 

Position Details:
  • Location: Santa Ana, Anaheim, Costa Mesa
  • Setting: Hospital (ER/ICU) 
  • Pay Rate: $60/hour 
  • Schedule: Block booking (per diem)- 12 hour shifts 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience 
  • ICU and ER preferred 
  • Active valid California Registered Nurse License 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rapid assessment and triage of incoming patients based on severity.
  • Immediate intervention for trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, and other emergencies.
  • Administering medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to stabilize patients.
  • Preparing patients for surgery or transfer to other departments (e.g., ICU).
  • Managing multiple patients simultaneously in a high-stress environment.
  • Documenting care and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse Responsibilities
  • ICU nurses care for critically ill patients who require constant monitoring and advanced medical support.
  • Continuous monitoring of vital signs and life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators).
  • Administering complex medications and titrating IV drips.
  • Providing detailed, long-term care for patients with severe conditions (e.g., sepsis, organ failure).
  • Performing frequent assessments and responding to subtle changes in patient condition.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning.
  • Supporting families through critical illness and end-of-life care.
  • Maintaining sterile environments and preventing hospital-acquired infections.
