Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a contract assignment in Chicago, IL!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)
Number of Openings: 1
Start Date: 6/23 or within 3-4 weeks of offer
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days/ Mon-Fri (9a-5:30p) / Every other weekend
On-Call: 3 on-call every 6th week
Setting:
- Major urban hospital
- OB/GEN
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Tech experience
- Must have experience with OB anatomy scans to include heart views (3VV and 3VTV, RVOT and LVOT)
- ARDMS, IEMA
- BLS (AHA)

TheUltrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasksutilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection ofmedical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of apatient’s body.
Minimum Requirements:
- A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
- One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
