Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a LPN/LVN for the25/26 SY! 

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN identifies and treats healthdisorders among students in the school setting. The 1:1 School LPN/LVN providesinstruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. TheSchool LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physical conditions in the school settingand refers the student to appropriate resources as needed.  The work ofthe School LPN/LVN is performed in compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope ofpractice and according to state education codes.

Details: 

·        Start: 8/25/25

·        Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45a-3:15p

·        Must have LPN/LVN License

Minimum Requirements:

·        Current LPN/LVN license for the state in whichthe nurse practices

·        Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

·        One year prior professional nursing experiencein school setting preferred

·        Pediatric experience preferred

·        Current BLS card

·        Considerable knowledge of medical disorders andtreatment

·        Considerable knowledge of child growth anddevelopment

·        Some knowledge of public health problems andprocedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social serviceagencies

·        Some knowledge of Federal, State, and Local lawsand regulations affecting the delivery of school health services

·        Understands the school organization and thecommunity served

·        Must be at least 18 years of age
