In-Home Caregiver

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced In-Home Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship to geriatric clients in the San Francisco area. This role requires someone who is comfortable traveling home to home and has a flexible schedule, especially on weekends.

Schedule: Open availability between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, including weekends, 5x8s

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying, etc.)
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities
• Accompany client to appointments or errands as needed
• Maintain accurate records of care provided

Minimum Requirements: 

• State licensure or certification if required by state and/or contract
• One (1) year relevant patient/client care experience 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
