We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess and address student needs, develop intervention plans, and foster a supportive learning environment.
Position Details
- Assignment location: Rensselaer, IN
- Would consider Part-Time or Full-Time candidates
- Would consider virtual candidates
- Compensation: Virtual $50/hr | On-site $62/hr
- Full-Time Hours: 35 / Week | Part-Time Hours: Open to discussion
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays)
- Assignment Length: 25-26 School Year
- Weekly Pay + Benefits
- Start: August 5, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students to address mental health concerns, social skills development, and crisis management.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and mental health services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred).
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific).
- Experience working with students across diverse age groups and backgrounds, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information:
The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
- Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
- Master’s degree in psychology preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
