The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.  The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings. 

Position:  Respiratory Therapist

Location:  Chicago, IL

Pay Rate (Local): $60/Hour

Schedule:

  • 30 hr./wk., 12-hour shifts
  • 6:45pm-7:15am 
  • Required to work rotating weekends 

Duration:

  • 13 Weeks (Likely Extension)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Licensed by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
  • One year of recent respiratory therapy experience required  
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
