Speech Language Pathologist - Schools

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Andover, MA who is in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 25/26 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.

The school is for children ages 3-12 who have complex medical needs. The SLP is responsible for providing high quality speech, language and communication services 1:1 or in a group setting.

Start date: August 25, 2025

Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 3:00pm

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have experience working with students ages 3-12 in a special education setting
• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. 
• Active MA Licensure is required
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Must be able to sit, kneel and lift 25 pounds
