The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Sarasota School District	Level II Aide/ BT
Modality & Specialty	High need behavioral classrooms
Qualifications/Credentials	60+ college credit hours or passing parapro exam, 2+ years in high need behavioral settings required Must complete support screener ( by Nathalie williams under template when making note) How to under attachments

Pay Rate	Local: 22/ hour Travel stipends not offered
Start Date	August 12th 2025
Length of Contract	Full school year- 39 weeks
Weekly Schedule	Monday-Friday
Hours/Week	37.5 hrs/ week
Grade Levels	All levels available- please note preferences when submitting and on profile
