Behavior Technician – ST

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

? Provide Direct Student Support – Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing behavioral interventions. ? Implement Behavior Plans – Follow structured intervention strategies designed by specialists to reinforce positive behaviors. ? Monitor & Document Progress – Track behavioral improvements, record data, and adjust strategies as needed. ? Collaborate with Educators & Therapists – Work alongside teachers, therapists, and caregivers to create supportive environments. ? Assist in Crisis Intervention – Use proven techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure student safety.

Qualifications:

? Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred). ? Experience: Prior experience in behavioral intervention or school settings is beneficial. ? Skills:

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability

  • Ability to follow structured behavioral intervention plans
