Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Littleton, MA who is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist them at their facility on a full time basis. Looking for someone who is eager to learn and will ask questions.
Details of the position include:
Location: Littleton, MA
Facility Type: Psychiatric
Schedule: 7a-3p, Sun-Thurs, and a 2-10p, Wed-Sun
Pay: $25/hour
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients
- Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner
- Adheres to facility/client policy, procedures and protocols at all times
- Assists doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests being performed in a variety of patient care settings
- Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions
- Notifies the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years
- Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program when applicable
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
