Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 2

Start Date: 6/23

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Rotator shift

Setting:

• Large teaching hospital
• Labor & Delivery floor

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of L&D Surg Tech experience
• NBSTSA, BLS (AHA)

TheSurgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician is responsible for thesterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgical equipment and adjustmedical tools to ensure that the surgical devices are functioning properly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only) 
• Degree in biology related field which includes a degree / certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
