Amergis Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled LPNs for Day Shift Correctional assignments in Jarrat, VA.

 

Position Details:

 

·         Contract Length: 13 or 26 Weeks (Extensions Available)

·         Number of Openings: 3

·         Shift Length: 12hrs

·         Start Date: ASAP

·         Schedule: Day Shift 7a-7p – Every Other Weekend Required – 36hr Weeks

Additional Information:

  • Required Skills: Must Have Corrections Experience
  • Specific licensure and certifications/registrations required: Active VA or compact license & active BLS required
  • Interview process: Phone screen

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
  • Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
