School Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.   

Day to Day Duties:
  • Maternity leave fill for 2 different OTs in district
  • 3 weeks direct, 1 week OT/PT group, testing, IEP updates
  • First maternity leave is 8/11 – 10/27
  • Second maternity leave is 9/17 – 12/17
  • Grade Level & Classroom Type: ECSE and elementary age
  • Caseload Details: 25-30 students on caseload per opening
Minimum Requirements:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
