Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking to hire a 1:1 LPN for the 2025-2026 school year!

Location: Raeford, NC

Start Date: August 25, 2025

Employment Type: Full time 

Pay Rate: $27 /hr – ~$43,200 

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 School LPN/LVN to identify and treat health disorders among students in the school setting. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitors the student’s physical conditions in the school setting and refers the student to appropriate resources as needed.
• Perform in compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to state education codes.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare providers to support the student’s needs.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Educate and support the student in managing their health condition.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN license for the state in which the nurse practices
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience in school setting preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment
• Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
• Some knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies
• Some knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services
• Understands the school organization and the community served
• Must be at least 18 years of age
