Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Biology/Physical Science Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and foster an engaging learning environment for students.

Position Start Date: August 2025

Salary/Wage: $45/hr

Terms/Schedule: Full-Time, Until June 10th

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
Deliver dynamic instruction using varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, offering constructive feedback.
Stay up-to-date with scientific advancements to maintain relevant course content.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and participation.
Work closely with colleagues and school administration to support broader educational goals.
Guide students in academic and career planning, advising on further education and job opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance in compliance with district policies.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

Must hold the required Biology/Physical Science teaching license (please specify).
Strong knowledge of biology and physical science concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
