School Credentialed Nurse (CRN) – Weekly Pay!!

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 30+ hours/week (school hours vary by grade level)

Pay Rate:

• Negotiable (paid weekly)

Position Summary:

Amergis Healthcare (formerly Amergis Healthcare Staffing) is hiring Credentialed School Nurses to support student health and wellness across LA County for the 2025 – 2026 school year. The School Nurse is responsible for delivering skilled nursing care, managing student health plans, and collaborating with school personnel to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student care

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)

• Monitor and document student health status and treatment outcomes

• Coordinate care with school staff, families, physicians, and community health agencies

• Participate in IEP meetings and student care conferences as needed

• Provide health counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to appropriate services

• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records

• Support health education and promote disease prevention

• Ensure compliance with state laws, educational codes, and nursing standards

• Adhere to Amergis Healthcare and school district policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid School Nurse Services Credential (CTC)

• Active RN license in California

• CPR certification

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN, LVN, or LPN)

• Minimum 1–2 years of school nursing or pediatric experience preferred

• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills

• Computer literacy and documentation skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Completion of Amergis’ Competency Program and new hire training

• Compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

• Current PPD or chest X-ray and health certificate (as required)

• RN with school nursing experience

• CSN – Preliminary Credential
