Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Mammography Technologists for assignments in Boston, MA!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 3

Start Date: 6/16 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days(8a-4:30p) / Mon-Fri with potential Sat rotation

Setting:

Large teaching/research hospital

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Mammography Tech experience
MA RT license
BLS (AHA), ARRT (M)

TheMammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associatedwith the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images ofthe breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve thechances of successful treatment and survival.

Minimum Requirements:

Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working
One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
