25/26 School Year - Paraprofessional Openings

Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Palmer, MA who is currently seeking a qualified ABA Paraprofessional / BT/RBT to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: ABA Para / BT / RBT (School Based) 

Description: 

• Para 2 openings are available for all grade levels
• Positions are primarily in sub separate sub-classrooms; some positions are 1:1, some general classroom/small group
• Elementary and Middle have the most needs, and some at High School
• One year of ABA experience is highly preferred
• Working with students who have ASD, developmental disabilities, or other behavioral/developmental diagnoses. Student behaviors may include aggression, eloping, flopping, or behaviors that are injurious to themselves or others
• Candidates must be able to speak to the following skills: de-escalation (and any training they have had), working with students with trauma, data collection (types taken/programs used), discrete trial experience, and any other ABA experience.
• Must be flexible to help in other classrooms if needed, cover recess, lunch, or bus duty, changing/toileting may be required.

Location: Palmer, MA

Facility Type: Public School

Start: August 2025

Duration: 36 weeks (full school year) 

Hours: Monday – Friday School hours (varies based on location) 

Pay Rate: Based on experience & negotatiable 

• ABA Para- Up to $26/hr 
• RBT – Up to $30/hr
