Are you passionate about helping students find their voice?We’re seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language PathologistAssistants (SLPA) to support students across a variety of school settings—frompreschool to high school—throughout the Oklahoma City area. Under the supervision of alicensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in deliveringimpactful communication interventions that change lives.
Position Overview:
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Grade Levels: All
- Openings: Multiple
- Compensation: Starting at $40/hour and up basedon experience
- Hours: 37/week
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, NoWeekends, No Holidays)
- Duration: 2025/2026 School Year

What You’ll Do:
- Provide educationally necessary interventions in communication skill development, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and AAC device programming.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and materials aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy records, schedules, progress notes, IEPs, and reports.
- Travel between school sites within the district to serve students on your caseload.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support student success.
What You Bring:
- Completion of an SLPA Associate’s degree program or a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders with completion of SLPA modules.
- Current Oklahoma SLPA license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
- Successful completion of at least 100 hours of supervised clinical experience.
- Experience working with children with disabilities – preferred.
- One (1) year of SLPA experience – preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Current TB screening, health certificate, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (if applicable).
- Must have access to a laptop and printer (notprovided by the district).

- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to student growth.
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed.
- Relevant experience may substitute for formal education at a 2:1 ratio.

Additional Information:
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree,or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communicationdisorders program
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours ofsupervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent asrequired by state and/or contract
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-LanguagePathology Assistant in the State of Practice
- One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language PathologyAssistant experience preferred;
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
