RN Med/Surg Tele | Days

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) assignments in Urbana, IL!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability to extend)

Number of Openings: 6

Start Date: 6/9 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Days / Every other weekend/holiday

Setting:

• Level I trauma center
• Med/Surg Tele unit

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN Med/Surg Tele experience
• EPIC experience within the last year + Level I trauma experience
• IL RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices. 
• Full command of the English language, both verbal and written. 
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation). 
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray. 
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred. 
• Current BLS card.
