 Amergis Healthcare is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to support in a Orange County for a Rehabilitation Hospital. 

Details

  • Setting: Rehabilitation Hospital 
  • Location:Santa Ana 
  • Schedule: AMs, PMS, Overnights
  • Pay: $24/hour (we offer weekly pay!) 

 

CNA Essential Responsibilities:

  • Basic Patient Care: Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measuring and recording vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Medical Documentation: Keeping accurate records of health status, care provided, and any changes in condition.
  • Support for Medical Staff: Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or physicians, helping with medical procedures and patient care plans.
  • Inmate Interaction: Providing care with empathy and professionalism while maintaining safety and boundaries.
  • Security Awareness: Adhering to strict safety protocols, including escort procedures and contraband control.

CNA Qualifications:

  • BLS/CPR certified (or willing to obtain before start)
  • 1 year of correctional experience preferred or behavioral experience 
  • CNA license
