Gross weekly pay – $2,664
Shift Requirements: 12 HR Days (7A-7P) – every weekend
Float Requirements: None
On Call/Call Back Requirements: 2 days of call will be required on the weekend rotation – will be scheduled for evening until the next morning. Call schedule is provided in advance with the weekly schedule. Holiday call is also a possibility.
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every weekend/every other holiday
Required Certifications: ARDMS registry, prefer the RVT. AHA BLS
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years (prefer 5+ years)
Charting Experience Required: Epic and Viewpoint for the OB exams > 14 weeks
Required Skillset: General and vascular exams, including small parts (with the exception of breasts…no longer doing breast ultrasound). Procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, thyroid biopsy/FNA. MFM protocols for OB, such as BPP, cervical length, growth (including heart imaging), and limited OB exams.
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): We do around 600 studies per month
The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.
Minimum Requirements:
- A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
- One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
