Position Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in various settings such as homes, schools, and clinics.


Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).
-Current RBT certification through the BACB.
-Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations if needed.
Specific Assignment:
-We are currently looking for (2) strong RBTs to support a high school 2:1 case involving a male high school student who has high-intensity behaviors. This assignment will have the support of a BCBA and includes a bus route in the Buena Park/Fullerton area.
