Day to Day Duties:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations ofstudents to determine eligibility for special education services.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)for students.

For students qualifying for special education services,assist in providing needed services through the use of consultation,assessments, counseling, problem-solving, and educational strategies.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other schoolstaff to ensure appropriate educational services for students such as classroomintervention plans.

Conduct re-evaluations of students as required by federaland state regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments,evaluations, and IEP’s in accordance with ISD and state regulations.

Participate in meetings with parents and other stakeholdersto discuss assessment results and IEPs.

Other related duties as assigned.

$50hr, $55hr Bilingual (Spanish/Engligh)
