Days 4/10’s Shift
An Interventional Radiology Nurse is a specialized RN whoassists the physician with medical imaging such as MRIs, ultrasounds orX-rays. The RN – InterventionalRadiology is responsible for patient care during the entire process, includingthe initial assessment, the plan of care, administering medication, checkingfor lab results, and reviewing the patient’s medical history.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to scrub, circulate, and first assist to physician
- Have knowledge of Epic, Siemens single, Bi Plane, circulate, film, and charge exams on Epic.
- AART, BLS, RTR or RTRVI, and KY Radiation Operator’s License
- 1-3yrs of experience in Interventional Radiology with skills in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
