Job Title: Behavior Technician – Special Education
Location: Appleton, WI
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 36 Weeks
Compensation: $875 Gross Weekly Pay

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We’re looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team in Appleton, WI. In this role, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support to special education students, helping them build positive behaviors, social skills, and academic success.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students with special needs
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support IEP goals
• Collect and document data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings and professional development

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a school or special education setting
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
