Medical Coder – Ambulatory Surgery

Ambulatory Surgery has a mix of cases performed in the OR (under rev code 360) that range from head to toe, including but not limited to Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gyn, Vascular/IR, Eye, etc. This person would not be responsible for Caths since that is not performed in the OR and is coded by a separate team.
Minimum Requirements:
  • AHIMA or AAPC
  • Level I trauma/Teaching experience required
  • No PCS coding required
  • Infusion Coding required
  • EPIC experience required
