Join our dedicated team and help make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. Amergis Educational Staffing is actively seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 4, 2025
- Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 school year
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: 1:1 student support
- Grade Levels: Flexible—work with students across various grade levels
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in interpreting or a related field
- Completion of 20 hours of annual professional learning in interpreting/transliterating
- Experience in an educational setting preferred
Interpreter Certification Levels:
- Educational Interpreter I:
- EIPA score of 3.3+ or TEC Unit score of Level 2 (for cued language transliterators)
- Educational Interpreter II:
- EIPA score of 3.5+ or TEC Unit score of Level 3
- Educational Interpreter III:
- EIPA score of 4.0, TEC Unit score of Level 3, or national certification
