School Behavior Technician –(ABA)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Behavior Technician with a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support students with behavioral and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to implement behavior intervention plans and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA-based interventions to support student behavior and learning.

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce positive behaviors.

• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track student progress.

• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school staff to develop individualized behavior plans.

• Assist in classroom management and provide support to teachers.

• Educate students on social skills, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.

• Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.

• Experience in ABA therapy (minimum 1 year preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a school setting and adapt to diverse student needs.
