About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and credentialed School Nurse to join the Amergis team and provide essential healthcare services to students for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student well-being, proactive in health education, and skilled in managing school health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and emergency response.
Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records.
Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with medical needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student health and wellness.
Educate students and staff on disease prevention, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
School Nurse Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain one).
Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
