About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and credentialed School Nurse to join the Amergis team and provide essential healthcare services to students for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student well-being, proactive in health education, and skilled in managing school health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and emergency response.

• Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records.

• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with medical needs.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student health and wellness.

• Educate students and staff on disease prevention, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.

• School Nurse Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain one).

• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
