A University in San Francisco, CA is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed Social Worker to join our Counseling and Wellness Services team. The ideal candidate will provide direct clinical services to students, support crisis intervention efforts, and contribute to the development of a healthy, inclusive campus environment. This role is essential in promoting student mental health, academic success, and overall well-being.
Schedule: 3 days a week, Monday and Fridays required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional, psychological, or academic challenges.
- Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments, including suicide prevention and postvention support.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and campus partners to support student success and retention.
- Facilitate workshops and outreach programs on topics such as stress management, healthy relationships, and mental health awareness.
- Serve on university committees related to student wellness, diversity, and inclusion.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.
Schedule: 24 hours a week, Monday and Friday required, 3rd day up to your choosing
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
- Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
- Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
