Medical Assistant/Lab Tech

The Laboratory Technician performs routine tests in amedical laboratory and throughout the hospital to provide data for use in the diagnosis and treatment ofdisease.

Minimum Requirements:

• MA-C or MA-P
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Successful completion of Laboratory Technician training withsubsequent certification as a Laboratory Technician preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
