Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced CAT Scan Technologists (CT Tech) for assignments in Hyannis, MA!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 5

Start Date: 6/2 or 6/16

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days (7a-3p), Eves (12p-8p/3p-11p), or Nights (6p-2a/11p-7a) / Every other weekend

 

Setting:

• Community hospital located on Cape Cod
• GE equipment

 

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience 
• GE equipment + EPIC experience
• MA ARRT (CT) license or ability to obtain upon offer
• BLS (AHA)

TheCAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographsof specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
