Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Riverside County, CA
Contract: 25/26 School Year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70-$75 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2025/2026 school year. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students in a school setting, helping them achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication needs.
- Monitor and document students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ speech and language goals.
- Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
