Physical/Rehabilitation Therapist

Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Physical Therapists (PT) for assignments in Bridgeport, CT!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 26 weeks (+ ability to extend)

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 5/19 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Mon-Fri (8a-4:30p)

 

Setting:

• Community Mental Health center
• Outpatient

 

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• CT PT license
• BLS (AHA)

ThePhysical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as wellas providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan ofcare developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders whenapplicable.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
