The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator provides essential support to our safety management
team, assisting in the implementation and maintenance of our safety programs and protocols. The
Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator has a passion for safety, excellent communication skills,
and works collaboratively across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists in maintaining EHS documents in SharePoint, including newsletters, safety data sheets, emergency preparedness plans and evacuation maps
  • Compiles and distributes monthly reports from internal and external sources
  • Collects, assembles and distributes monthly reports from internal and third-party sources
  • Conducts regular safety inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on EHS topics for all Amergis staff
  • Assists with injury investigations
  • Participates in the HQ Emergency Response Team
  • Responds to EHS inquiries and escalates issues as needed
  • Completes required professional development and safety training on time
  • Performs additional projects and tasks, as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in safety-focused roles, with demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with federal, state and local EHS regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in the English language is required
