Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support a rehabilitation hospital/LTAC hospital in Orange County!
Details
- Setting: Rehabilitation Hospital/LTAC
- Location: Santa Ana, Westminster, and Brea
- Schedule: AMs/NOCCs (12 hour shifts) per diem
- Pay: 35/hour (we offer weekly pay!) +OT after 8 hours
LVN Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Vital Signs: Regularly check and document patients’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Wound Care: Perform dressing changes and assist with wound management under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Rehabilitative Support: Assist with physical therapy exercises and mobility training as part of the care plan.
- Patient Observation: Report any changes in a patient’s condition to the RN or physician promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, treatments, and observations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with RNs, physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Patient and Family Education: Provide basic education on care routines and post-discharge instructions.
- Infection Control: Follow strict hygiene and infection prevention protocols.
LVN Qualifications:
- BLS/CPR certified (or willing to obtain before start)
- 1 year of LVN experience preferred
