Travel RN Cardiac PICU Nights

$2,578 wk./36 hrs. | $37 hr. | $74 OT | Weekly Stipends-$1,246
Must live >50 miles from Neenah, WI | $250 sign-on bonus | $250 completion and/or extension bonus
Shift Requirements: 12-hour nights; 7p-7:30a
Float Requirements: float to NICU and PICU as needed
Weekend requirements: Every other
Holidays: rotate every other
On call/Call Back: None
EMR: Epic experience required
Education: ASN or BSN; BSN preferred
Required certs to be attached upon submittal: WI or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA PALS required and AHA ACLS preferred, but not required. 
Minimum experience: 12 – 18 months in high acuity cardiac PICU required. Level I Trauma experience highly preferred. 
Highly preferred to have 1 travel assignment 
Special skills: Use critical thinking and cardiac,  High acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests.
Unit: West 3 – Pediatric CICU; 24 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates/infants up to adult congenital patient. RNs provide coordination and management of patient care for patients and families. Use critical thinking and cardiac assessments to provide nursing care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients. Provide nursing care for the hemodynamically compromised patients and patients with impending respiratory failure.
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an PICU RN to be part of the Pediatric Critical Care Department and manages patients with multi-system failure and a variety of life threatening illnesses. The ICU/CCU nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients and is responsible to the Clinical Manager of client facility designee.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Shows evidence of having graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, legal license in good standing in state of practice.
  • Shows evidence of one year recent experience in ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU or emergency medicine
  • Prefers evidence of ACLS, PALS, NRP certification.
  • Shows evidence of CEU requirements for the state of practice.
  • Must be able to work with frequent interruptions.
  • 1-3 years complex job related experience, PALS, BLS, and ACLS, as required.
