We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpecial Education Teacher to join our team in Beloit for the 2025-2026 schoolyear. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and supportto students, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.

Position Details:

Location: Beloit, WI
Compensation: $40 / Hour
Hours: 40 / Week
Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays)
Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Wisconsin teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience in special education teaching preferred.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment (e.g., standing, bending, kneeling).

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitmentto team participation in planning and implementation of student programsincluding special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation withgeneral education staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state,contract/district regulations
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard ElementaryTeaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard SecondaryTeaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teachingpreferred
Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
