Amergis Healthcare has an exciting temp to perm opportunity for a Crisis Clinician to provide care to clients in Lemoille County. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3 years of applicable experience 
  • Willing to obtain designation as Qualified Mental Health Professional by the state of Vermont 
  • Preferred: LADC, LICSW, LCMHC, or other mental health license

Pay: $35/hour paid weekly, plus mileage reimbursement

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5×8 hour shifts 

1st or 2nd shift available 

Job Duties:

  • Provide emergency behavioral health crisis service response for residents of Lamoille County 
  • Assess mental status of individuals in crisis and determine appropriate level of care based on assessment, including hospitalization, referrals for crisis bed, or referrals to other behavioral or physical health treatment providers
  • Sees clients in the field for face-to-face assessments and supportive outreaches 
  • Coordinate outreach with local law enforcement agencies 
  • Provide problem solving and supportive counseling 
  • Log all phone calls and contacts and complete all other required clinical and administrative documentation 
  • Provide immediate access to critical incident debriefings 

Duration: Temp to Perm
