Certified Nursing Assistant / Direct Support Professional Openings – TN!

*MUST BE CNA CERTIFIED*

Position Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily activities such as personal care, recreational activities, community integration, and transportation.
Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Document progress and ensure confidentiality of all information.
Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, and guardians.
Report any health, safety, or behavioral concerns following company policies.

Requirements

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required (no CNA-specific duties involved).
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least six months of experience in human services is preferred.
Must be 18 years or older.
Completion of all state-required training within mandated timeframes.

Work will primarily take place in program locations, with occasional community-based activities.

General Comments

Location: Maryville, TN

Position: CNA/DSP

Shift & Contract Length: 15 Nights, 7p-7a or 8p to 8a 10 Days 7a-7p or 8a-8p

Interview Process: None, Auto Offer

Facility Type: Group Home Support

Number of Beds/patients/students: 4 DSPs per house, 3 patients per house, 2 DSP on each shift

Dress Code: Any Scrubs

Orientation Info: Same Day / Time as Shift. Will Shadow on first day

First Day Instructions (FDI): Arrive at Facility 30 mins before – Will find out which nurse to ask for –
