Certified Nursing Assistant / Direct Support Professional Openings – TN!

*MUST BE CNA CERTIFIED*

Position Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily activities such as personal care, recreational activities, community integration, and transportation.

  • Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Document progress and ensure confidentiality of all information.

  • Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, and guardians.

  • Report any health, safety, or behavioral concerns following company policies.

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required (no CNA-specific duties involved).

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • At least six months of experience in human services is preferred.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Completion of all state-required training within mandated timeframes.

  • Work will primarily take place in program locations, with occasional community-based activities.

General Comments

Location: Maryville, TN

Position: CNA/DSP

Shift & Contract Length: 15 Nights, 7p-7a or 8p to 8a 10 Days 7a-7p or 8a-8p

Interview Process: None, Auto Offer

Facility Type: Group Home Support

Number of Beds/patients/students: 4 DSPs per house, 3 patients per house, 2 DSP on each shift

Dress Code: Any Scrubs

Orientation Info: Same Day / Time as Shift. Will Shadow on first day

First Day Instructions (FDI): Arrive at Facility 30 mins before – Will find out which nurse to ask for –
