Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Corrections

Location: Raleigh, NC

Positions Available: 3 (Medical Unit, Outside Rounds, Mental Health Unit)

Shift: 12-HR Shifts (Dayshift and Nightshift available), 36/48 rotation

Pay Rates:

  • Local Pay: $33/hour
  • Overtime Pay: $49.50/hour
  • Traveler Pay:
    • 36 HR rate: $1519/week
    • 48 HR rate: $1806/week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Dates: 5/12 or 5/19

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our corrections team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality care in various units including the Medical Unit, Outside Rounds, and Mental Health Unit. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of inmates.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience in corrections or similar healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
