Psychologist - $80 an Hour

Amergis Staffing is hiring a psychologist in Wartburg, TN! Details below:  

• Location: Wartburg, TN
• Position: Clinical Psychologist
• Shift & Contract Length: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, 13 week contract with extensions offered. Possibility for full time employment to follow
• Pay Rate: $80 an hour or travel pay available
• Facility Type: Correctional facility but in an office setting, small local prison
• Dress Code: Business Casual/professional
• Must have one year of experience
• Weekly pay and benefits offered

The Psychologist plans, conducts and coordinates all aspects of diagnostic assessment, evaluations and therapeutic interventions.  The psychologist must demonstrate professional knowledge of, and skill in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of the practice of Psychology; to a wide range of populations. The Psychologist is an independent practitioner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or University with a curriculum in Psychology approved by the American Psychological
• Association (APA) Current valid unrestricted license to practice in the specialty of Psychology
• Certified documentation of education, training and license per state/contract requirement
• Minimum of (1) one year relevant work experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
