Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the extended school year program with opportunity to extend further into the following school year. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in various school districts, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed academically and socially.
Pay: $60-$85/h
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
