Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Openings
• Location: Wisconsin
• Hourly Rate: $55/hr
• 2025-2026 School Year
• Certification: Wisconsin certification 1820 required
• In Person
Preferred Candidates Should Possess:
• Experience in assessing and programming for speech/language students.
• Skills in using sign language.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities and early childhood programs.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and augmentative communication systems.
• Willingness to provide Extended School Year instruction.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect speech/language services.
• Manage student programs, including therapy, assessment, writing IEPs, and consulting with staff and parents.
• Collaborate with various professionals.
• Support students within the regular education environment.
Qualifications Required:
• Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• License: Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license 1820.
• Certification: CCC from ASHA preferred or eligibility for CFY.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with students aged 3-21 in a school setting.
• Knowledge of AAC devices and strategies.
• Strong collaboration and consultation skills.
• Experience with diverse student populations and evidence-based interventions.
Essential Functions:
1. Assessment & Evaluation: Conducts evaluations, interprets findings, and recommends services.
2. Intervention & Therapy: Develops and implements treatment plans/IEPs, provides direct and consultative services, integrates therapy into the classroom.
3. Collaboration & Consultation: Works with various professionals, provides training to educators and parents.
4. Assistive Technology & AAC: Assesses needs for AAC devices, implements and trains on AAC systems.
5. IEP Development & Compliance: Participates in IEP meetings, develops goals, monitors progress, completes documentation.
6. Professional Development & Advocacy: Provides training, engages in professional development, advocates for students.
7. Diversity & Inclusion: Promotes diversity and uses culturally responsive practices.
8. Additional Responsibilities: Maintains records, adheres to ethical and legal requirements, performs other duties as assigned.
