Behavioral Technician

Location: Beloit, WI

Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Department: Special Education

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our Special Education team in Beloit for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will support students with behavioral challenges, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and analyze data on student behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Provide direct support and intervention to students during school hours.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field; or relevant certification.
• Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds where applicable.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment (e.g., standing, bending, kneeling).
