Amergis Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Orange County!
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

- Schedule: AM,PM,NOCC
- Pay: $22-$24 / hour (we offer weekly pay!)
Minimum Requirements:
- Atleast one year of CNA experiende
- Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Basic Patient Care: CNAs assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitoring Vital Signs: They regularly check and record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assisting with Rehabilitation: CNAs help patients with physical, speech, and occupational therapy activities as directed by therapists.
- Supporting Mobility: They assist patients with transfers, walking, and exercises to improve mobility
- Medication Administration: CNAs ensure patients take their prescribed medications and report any issues to the supervising nurse
- Emotional Support: Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families is also a vital part of their role.
