Position:  Mammo Tech/ Mammographer

Location:  Bellevue, WA

Shifts:  Days 

Hours:  40 (5X8’s), 7-8am start time depending on location

Estimated Start Date:  5/5 or 5/19 

Length of Contract 13 weeks

Licenses:  WA State Rad Tech registration, ARRT (M)

Years of Experience:  2 years of previous experience

Specific Requirements:

ORIENTATION: One week, up to 40H of modules, hospital safety instructions and potential shadow shift
Local: $20.76/hr

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures.  The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results.  The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.
